Tracey is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing, Post Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care, Graduate Diploma Business (Management), Master of Business Administration and a Diploma with Company Directors. She has over 30 years experience in the health sector and in private and not-for-profit aged care. Tracey is an active member of the Australian College of Nursing. Her background includes Adjunct Professorial Appointment to the School of Nursing and Midwifery Griffith University; participation on the Griffith and Australian Catholic University Bachelor of Nursing Advisory Committees; the QLD State-wide General Medical Clinical Network, QLD State-wide Clinical Handover Reference Group, the Corporate Services Committee for Queensland Nursing Council and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Amanda has more than 30 years Australian and international experience in health and aged Care at senior management levels in both the private and public sectors. She has qualifications as a Registered Nurse (St Bartholomews, UK) and MBA (Monash) and has achieved a positive difference as a CEO, Facility Manager and Consultant through her successful leadership of high quality, compassionate, personalised care for residents/patients and their families. Amanda’s professional experience also includes turning around under-performing assets and leading multiple process improvement projects. She has well established, credible relationships with relevant business, government and key stakeholder groups.
Abraham is a Registered Nurse who has worked in aged care for 14 years and in hospitals as a Registered Nurse in both acute and sub-acute wards. He holds a Masters in Business Administration, has specialised in Human Resources Management and holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management. Prior to joining LASA Abraham worked as a Director of Nursing and a university tutor of nursing students. He is passionate about people and enjoys working in aged care.
Cheryl has 35 years experience in Residential Aged Care Management and has worked in both corporate and operational roles. She has worked for smaller and larger providers in both the private and not for profit sectors. Cheryl is a Registered Nurse who also holds qualifications in Management, Work Health & Safety and Workplace Trainer and Assessor. She is a Myers Briggs practitioner and has facilitated leadership development programs. Cheryl has mentoring and coaching skills and is passionate about people, particularly the aged.
Retirement Living & Seniors Housing
Paul is the Principal Advisor for Retirement Living & Seniors Housing with Leading Age Services Australia (LASA). Paul advises retirement village and seniors housing operators on compliance, legislative interpretation, policy and advocacy, financial models, contracts and training encompassing the customer experience. He has over 13 years’ experience operating Aged Care and Retirement Living in Australia. Paul has qualifications in Aged & Disability Services; a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations; is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD); an advanced Graduate of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (GAIST.Adv) and an experienced Company Director with over 14 years’ service on boards in the education, aged care and financial services sectors including 7 years as a Superannuation Trustee Director. Paul is currently a Director for Benevolent Living.
Jane is a specialist in community engagement, customer experience, sales and marketing functions. To date her career has largely been in customer services arenas across the government, not for profit and corporate sectors. Jane has valuable experience in understanding the health and community care systems and reforms. Her experience includes research to inform and evaluate policy and programs, commercial and social (change) marketing research and analysis, integrated campaign development and implementation, and extensive consumer and stakeholder engagement. Her professional range covers hands on project delivery through to Board-level influence.
Tania has eight years’ experience in the aged care, community care and disability sectors in the not-for-profit sector, where she has held senior and executive management roles in WA. Tania holds qualifications in Business Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, Governance and Risk Management and Quality Auditing. She holds professional memberships with Exemplar Global – ISO Quality Management Systems, Governance Institute of Australia and Association of Consultants in Access. Tania is passionate about her community and is a member of Ellenbrook Chamber of Commerce & Communities and Midland Chamber of Commerce.
