LASA is calling for final nominations now for the 2021 Retirement Manager of the Year Award which closes on 9 April. The Award aims to promote and recognise excellence across the retirement living and senior’s housing industry.

“This award celebrates the passion and achievements of individuals who exemplify and continually maintain top standards of customer service,” said LASA CEO Sean Rooney.

“It is about making better ageing futures for older people, using innovation, satisfaction, dispute resolution and efficient management processes across retirement societies.

“The award will also showcase the important role that retirement communities play in providing affordable, appropriate housing and exciting social and community services for senior Australians.”

Paul Murphy, LASA’s Principal Advisor for Retirement Living and Seniors Housing, said the Award highlights the critical role that village managers play in creating a safe, happy and harmonious community environment.

“It’s the little things that make a big difference”, Mr Murphy said.

“We recognise these village managers for the emotional intelligence and critical interpersonal and communication skills they bring, day in day out, ensuring all matters are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.”

LASA thanks Mullins Lawyers, proud sponsors of the LASA Retirement Living Manager of the Year Award 2021, for their support.

The LASA Retirement Village Manager of the Year Presentation will be streamed online on Thursday, 10 June 2021.
