LASA CEO Sean Rooney spoke with ABC Brisbane’s Craig Zonca and Rebecca Levingston on Friday 9 March about a range of issues including care quality, staffing, the make-up of providers in the sector, and comments made recently by Queensland’s Health Minister Steven Miles.

Mr Rooney discussed the need to make 2018 a year of action for age services in Australia. He spoke of the need for a national conversation on ageing to enable us as a society to understand the issues, determine solutions, manage expectations, and reach agreement on how we can best enable and support the growing number of older Australians to age well.
