Contemporary Issues in the Aged Care Workforce Webinar
4 June 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:10 pm
In response to COVID-19 aged care providers’ workforce management practices are being challenged like never before. Industrial relations changes, subsidy and incentive payments, availability and supply of suitably qualified and experienced staff, staff operating at the frontline of a pandemic with the most vulnerable population group – all contemporary issues for aged care providers to be on top of at the moment. Added to this is the requirement to be on top of these matters while maintaining regulatory compliance with Standard 7. Evidence indicates that a number of providers are not sustaining compliance with this Standard.
This webinar will provide updates from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and LASA staff across our Employment Relations, Residential Aged Care and Home Care teams. The presenters will provide solid guidance for managers of age services—offering credible information and valuable insight to support you in responding to the issues and sustaining your workforce compliance obligations.
Open to LASA Members and non-Members, the program also provides an opportunity to ask questions of specialists within LASA. Join us in this webinar and find the support you need to lead your staff and business with confidence.
