WA State Conference 2020 – Cancelled
17 June 2020 - 19 June 2020
Given the ever-changing circumstances of COVID-19 and the Government’s escalating responses, LASA has decided to err on the side of caution and make a number of changes to our scheduled program of meetings, workshops, and events until (at least) the end of June 2020.
In light of this, LASA has made the decision to cancel this event and attendees will be updated of future plans for alternate delivery of this event. We would like to apologise that we will be unable to deliver this valuable content to attendees at this time and for any inconvenience caused.
|Date||Wednesday 17 - Friday 19 June 2020|
Last year saw our industry commence the transition to the new aged care quality standard, supported by the strong voice and helping hand of Leading Age Services Australia (LASA). With an innovative and solution focus, we worked together to prepare the sector to develop, create and reimagine services that would add real value to the wellbeing of ageing Australians, and the growth of our industry.
We now find ourselves at the beginning of a decade of delivery, where our policy preparation is set to be realized through the implementation of action-oriented practices that meet and exceed the quality standard requirements and address the Royal Commission findings.
With this in mind, LASA has purposefully designed our 2020 State Conferences to assist and guide you in meeting the complexities of policy reform through the delivery of practical, experiential/evidence-based and best practice service delivery outcomes.With programs covering topics from adapting to the new legal frameworks and the adoption of consumer driven care, through to building the workforce of the future and becoming audit ready, LASA’s 2020 State Conferences will equip you with real-world, best practice, operational solutions that will ensure ageing well is the reality for you, your organisation and all Australians.
