The learnings from the financial services royal commission, as well as the recently established royal commission into Australia’s aged care sector highlight the importance of putting the consumer first and finding the right balance between societal purpose and sustainability.

Who should attend this workshop?
This workshop aims to equip directors, company secretaries, risk managers and other senior managers in aged care with insights, tools and questions to refine and strengthen their approaches. What work is required to ensure the board is well informed about governance and risk management framework issues?
Leigh Welling has been consulting, training and assisting aged care staff and Manager/ Proprietors since 1985. In 1998, he became a full time consultant and holds a certificate IV in work place Assessment and Training. Leigh is the Principal ACFI consultant for Leading Age Services Australia
