Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) Masterclass (VIC)

Full comprehensive update and strategies to mange the changes to ACFI that took effect from January 2017. Informing and supporting staff to understand the 12 ACFI questions and ethically optimise funding for your organisation.

The Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) assesses the relative care needs of residents and is the mechanism for allocating the Government subsidy to aged care providers for delivering care to residents. The ACFI has three funding categories, and four levels of funding within each category. These are collectively referred to as the 12 ACFI questions.

If you are an ACFI coordinator, care manager, a senior staff member, an allied health professional, a registered nurse or an enrolled nurse, this dynamic workshop is designed fr you. Leigh Welling has been consulting, training and assisting aged care staff and Managers/Proprietors since 1985. In 1998, he became a full time consultant and holds a Certificate IV in Work Place Assessment and Training. Leigh is the Principal ACFI consultant for Leading Age Services Australia.
