SUMMARY:Adelaide Leadership Professional Development Program
DESCRIPTION:Successful organisations recognise that training and education should be available not only for people interested in joining age care\, but just as importantly for people already working in the industry. LASA’s leadership Professional Development Program is an outstanding opportunity to assist your team to enhance skills and knowledge\, while also working towards a Diploma of Leadership and Management as an option. \nThis program offers participants the opportunity to join others in industry tailored sessions covering topics and issues common to all sectors of Australia’s aged care environment. \nThe Program comprises 2½ days of plenary sessions followed by interactive stream specific panels\, workshops\, and facilitated discussions each afternoon. Expert speakers and facilitators have been confirmed from Government\, Human Resources\, Legal and compliance advisors\, key LASA experts\, consultants and providers from the aged care sector. \nEach afternoon provides an optional extra session which focuses on the process of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) into the Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB51915). LASA’s Manager Accredited Training will facilitate these short sessions to assist participants to gain an understanding of the recognition process\, analyse his/her skills\, determine the evidence that will be required and negotiate time frames to prepare and submit an RPL folio. \nBased on LASA’s first and very successful program of this kind in 2017\, it has been decided to offer it nationally. \nThe draft program can be viewed here –\nADELAIDE_Leadership Professional Development Program.\nPlease note that the program is still under development and is subject to change. SUMMARY:Sydney Leadership Professional Development Program
\nThe Program comprises 2½ days of plenary sessions followed by interactive\, stream specific workshops\, panels and facilitated discussions each afternoon. Expert speakers and facilitators have been confirmed from Government\, Human Resources\, legal and compliance advisors\, sales and marketing and key LASA experts\, consultants and providers from the aged care and retirement living sectors. \nEach afternoon provides two professional streams across retirement living and residential care. This professional development program for our industry leaders will also provide Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) into the Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB51915) through LASA’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO). LASA’s Manager Accredited Training will facilitate a closing session to assist participants to gain an understanding of the recognition process\, analyse his/her skills\, determine the evidence that will be required and negotiate time frames to prepare and submit an RPL folio. \nBased on LASA’s first and very successful program of this kind in 2017\, it has been decided to offer it nationally. \nThe draft program can be viewed here – Leadership Professional Development Program. Please note that the program is still under development and is subject to change. Presenters are yet to be confirmed also.  \nFees: Don’t miss the 10% discount when booking 3 or more participants! \n\n\n\n\nLASA Member\nNon-Member \n\n\n2 1/2 Day Leadership Professional Development registrations\n$950\n$1\,045\n\n\nOption to gain a Diploma of Leadership and Management through an RPL process\, additional cost\n$1\,340\n$1\,600\n\n\n\n  \nFor further information\, click here or contact LASA on 1300 111 636 or events@lasa.asn.au. \nTo register\, click here. \n
