CDNA guidelines for COVID-19 in residential aged care: An update – 26 May 2021
26 May 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Since August 2020 we have been aware that the Communicable Diseases Network Australia (CDNA) has been revising the outbreak management guidance for residential aged care.
This new version 4.0 incorporates ‘lessons learned from outbreaks in 2020’. As we know there have been a significant number of reports on the outbreaks experienced in Australia during this period, including that of the Royal Commission.
The changes are comprehensive and substantive and reflect many of the lessons identified by staff within aged care, included in our own Lessons learnt material and on which LASA has been advocating.
Join us to hear from Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly, Professor Lyn Gilbert AO and our own experts about the scale and scope of the updates and what this means for your own outbreak management plans.
Who should attend?
Directors, CEOs, COOs, General Managers, Quality/Compliance Managers, Operations and Service Managers, IPC leads from the residential aged care sector.
