Are you looking for support, insights and the opportunity to collaborate with Industry Professionals?
Join the LASA Mentoring Program – begins 4 April – please register by 14 March
The LASA Mentoring Program is a five-month mentoring partnership and online coaching program, which facilitates the professional development of current and emerging leaders in the age services industry. This interactive Australia-wide program is carefully curated to give our Mentees access to one-to-one individualised support and guidance from industry-experienced Mentors.
The LASA Mentoring Program presents a unique opportunity within the age services industry. Mentoring is an invaluable way to support current and emerging leaders in their career development and help grow their confidence, as well as navigate a pathway to success. With current and projected shortages of qualified staff in the age services industry, as well increased customer expectations of high quality support and care, never has there been a more urgent need for the development and retention of talented age services professionals.
Join as a Mentee to receive ongoing support and guidance OR become a Mentor to share your skills
Mentees will be matched with a Mentor outside their organisation to support collaboration and connection, and build strong mentoring partnerships across the age services industry. Online resources and coaching assists Mentees to develop their skills, reach their career goals and achieve the maximum benefit from the program. LASA has designed this program to make the experience of Mentees and Mentors as effortless as possible—with weekly check-ins, conversation starters, and accessible resources to support you to get the most out of your mentoring relationship.
Share your insights and build your leadership legacy. As a Mentor, you will be sharing your passion, insights and experience with our industry’s current and emerging leaders and managers. You have the opportunity to help them see they are part of our industry’s solutions, ensure their voices are heard, increase their skills and empower them to be part of a better ageing future. Specifically, your role will be to help Mentees identify areas for personal growth, improve their ability to lead teams and manage projects, and build better relationships with their senior managers.
